You know of any good tracks around the Blue Mtns that are fairly easy and scenic?
Me and the little lady will be up that way in about 3 weeks time.

Yes Mikey, you can make it as hard or easy as you like. I must say, you should never go off road on your own. If you want I'd be happy to come along.

Cool, I was thinking of going more "softroad" than "offroad" if you catch my drift. I'll have a nervous nellie navigator next to me, so nothing too radical.
I'd love it if you can point me in the direction of some areas up there to have a play.

I soft road to work evert day , no problem. Best thing to do is go to the Zig Zag Railway car park (Bells Line Off Road, not hard to find). Drive to the north end of the car park (near to where you enter the car park), cross the train line and go from there. You can do a nice drive all the way down to the back of Lightow and stay in 2WD if you like.

Once your on the main road (can't remember what it's called) other side of the rail line, drive till you get to the T section. Go right untill you see "Black Fellow's Hand Trail" sign. Should be next to a little BBQ are at that point, from memory you take the left hand trail at the sign (it's just after the BBQ area). Follow it for a long time, eventually the dirt/sandy trail will start getting rocky. It will then start a decent, you will need to navigate down with some care (easy - but take care as there is a drop on one side). You will come out in a gully with huge rock either side, wind around to the left (can't go right - no trail and it's a dead end). You will come to an open area where there will be a sign saying Black bla bla..., you can get out here and have a look at the old hand paintings. Now simply keep going and you will end up on the black top again. Go left for a while, once you get to a T section go left back to Lightow and on up to the B-Mtns.

That should do it
