OK, I should post this in the tyres/wheels section but it relates to Cmohr’s / Ash & now our LOST brethren in WA... oh and me. I was giving some thought to the king steel rims the you guys have got and how they differ from mine (back space to outside side wall position). I don’t understand why my rubber pokes out from the side flare’s and your the 31/10.5’s don’t. They should (i think) as your outside edge of rim sits further out than mine, I even did a little diagram on my desk pad to visualise it. A 3.5” BS on 7” wide rim is ½” further out than my 5” BS on the 8” wide rim. In the words of Pauline Hanson... please explain. |

Right......I'll need a Holy Man, a Badger, a large spool of wire. Two dozen eggs, and about 20 minutes. The 7 inch rim doesn't let the tyre spread out as much as the 8in rim. it pulls the sidewalls in. Plus, I would say that mine sit further out than yours. |

I thought they would too, but I remember your pics of the rubber and it was flush with the flare (your cat's out of the bag thread). I it will be good to compare when we are up at Fraser |

I don't get it... is it from Team America (That was a funny flic) I'm just trying to understand why Ash is having so much trouble. OK, I've not seen the rims and rubber in person but I've read a lot about it and still can't get it, that's all. I'd have thought the biggest problem would be clearing the calipers and that's not a problem. Quote: Now Now stop bragging boys
