When driving to work today the engine light came on and the fuel gauge dropped to empty. I'd only filled up yesterday  . I stopped and turned it off then back on, fuel gauge went back to normal and the engine light remained on. I then called Jeep, they said it was the fuel pump sensor that must have had a glitch. They then said if it's working again don't worry, but if it occurs again then perhaps it will need to be looked at.
Anyone else had this code / problem? |

OBDII wise that's a "Fuel Sensor Circuit High Input" code. Unlikely to be an open circuit as that should be a P0462 "Low input". Did you reset the code? |

CD disconect your battery, turn everything on pump the brakes then leave the KJ for 10 Mins, this will reset the code 
then reconnect battery and your code should be gone see if it repeats it |
