I'm interested to know what insurance company you insure with.
Specifically those who have a lift and mods installed.

Did any of the companies have disclaimers? ie. not covered off road. Flood clause, Suicide clause,
Santa clause etc

i am insured through TCIS mate

covered on road and off, beach and river crossings all mods covered and same price as my last insurer

Was with Suncorp - no issue with the mods and have made a claim with no problems - they even did a reaonable job of the repair :-) Now with aami again apparently no issue with the mods but no claims so far....where's that piece of lucky wood gone again :lol:

When I bought my KJ (August 07) Chrysler was running a two year free comprehensive insurance deal (through QBE). It also allowed me to tack on my two under 25 children for no extra cost, the savings through that program has been significant - thousands. I am happy with QBE, not had to call them about anything. We shall see what happens to the premium when the policy expires, which I am dreading as I like free insurance.

Allianz. Told them about all the mods which are now listed on the policy. Covers me "anywhere I am legally entitled to drive".

I'm with TCIS (they're a broker) so my insurance I believe is actually with Allianz.

Pipeliner, I think I saw you the Friday before the long weekend with the trailer in tow, off anywhere nice?

You would have had to be near Bundaberg to see me on the Friday - we left Brisbane around 9am on Thursday. See the Deepwater thread for details.
