LOST Cape York Trip - Winter 2010 - Expression of Interest

I know its a year away but I would like to start people thinking about the feasbility of a LOST Cape York Trip sometime in the June-August period of 2010. It's something I have always intended to do but IMHO is best done in company with other vehicles. My son (JK Unlimted CRD) and I have kicked this around, and while impossible this year due to our jobs, finances, and other commitments, we are hoping to be able to do it next winter. So I'm putting it out there for discussion.

The Poll is not intended to be a commitment, its just there to determine if there is any interest.

Interested yes now with only a year to go I should have started trying to convince the wife about this maybe 3 years ago (ummmm yeah I didn't own a KJ back then). Oh well I will start nagging...............NOW...

The way this is going, maybe we should limit it to CRD's only!!! :roll:

We would love to do a Cape trip, but not next year as we have commited to a trip OS in March/April and we have discussed doing the Vic Jambo in September, making a road holiday out of the trip there and back, I have been thinking lightly about doing the cape in 2011, inbetween Jambo years.

Oh torn betweent 2 great options my first ever Jambo or a trip to the Cape that I have wanted to do since I started 4x4ing nearly 10 years ago, oh what will the wife say probably no to both but I am sure to get a yes to one of them....

Yeah, I know its a Jambo year (in late September). Guess I see Jambo in a different category to a Cape Trip (or this years Simpson Desert Trip).

Yep, i shall express an interest at this stage! See how we are travelling closer to the date, and if we return from the Red Centre trip!
