Hi Cmohr.
Yes last year it was at Northstar @ Kippa Ring.
Its not being held there this year.. new location and I am being told there will be other things as well.
We have a club meeting tonight, so Im hoping to confirm some more details etc.
Did you go last year?

Entrance fee is $5.00 with all proceeds going to the AGL Rescue Helicopter

Annual Jeep Appreciation Day
proudly sponsored by Northstar Motor Group, Cooper Tyres, Mickey Thompson Tyres, ARB, TJM and Opposite Lock.

Sunday 8th August 2010

Address: 530 Rutters Road, Caboolture (which is the same location as Farm Fantastic)

There will be Show N Shine competition, Trade Alley, Swap Meet and other activates and displays on the day.

Show N Shine will be broken into four categories,
• Most original Jeep
• Best off-road Jeep
• Best touring Jeep
• Best overall Jeep

Category winners will be decided by Michael Bowen from Jeep Action Australia Magazine on the day with exciting prizes kindly donated by our sponsors.

Trade Alley: Our event sponsors ARB, TJM and Opposite Lock, Cooper Tyres, Mickey Thompson Tyres will have demonstration stands available on the day, along with other 4x4 related companies, so that you can see what new and innovative products they have available for you’re most prized possession – your Jeep!

Swap Meet stalls are available for $5.00 each. This does not include entry to JAD on the day. Please contact Deb on 0409 500 095 or email austops@bigpond.com.au to book your site.

JAD will be open to the public at 9.30am and will wrap up around 4pm

The cost of entry is $5 per person – please remember that all profits will go directly to the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter (who are the ones that will come and help you if you get stuck off road!) and Parking is available on site

Hot food and drinks will be on sale all day - kindly provided and cooked by the team from AGL Action Rescue Helicopter.

They need some more categories.

I recall at Camp Coffs there was a Jeep in costume, so how about best decorated Jeep (Mr Bunny).

Others could be: Dirtiest Jeep, Pimped Jeep, etc :ROTFL:

Luv to come and have a day out and have a look around, but, as we are due back from the Savannah Way Exped. on the 7th August, I doubt wether we'll be able to make it. But we'll try.
