My 2006 jeep liberty just randomly shuts off while I'm driving. It will also go soft pedal when I step on the fuel pedal either up a hill or when I pass someone. Anybody else every have this problem ? I've had it in the shop twice now. They put a fuel pump in the fuel tank for a dodge 5.9 cummins pick-up and said that would fix it ..... not. HELP !! please. |

It does sound a little like fuel starvation. Have you checked/replaced the fuel filter? The cummins pump will only help if something else isn't blocking it. Dan |
