I looked up every fuel pump manufacturer I have listed, and every one of them with the exception of one stated their fuel pumps may be sourced Globally aka China.

As our vehicles age, there is less interest in making quality parts for them. I think an in tank connection, actually failed on my first China pump, because it runs 20 seconds, and stops with key on, but no fuel pumping. I shall find out today. If it fails again, it will be getting another inline pump, or I am going to cut a hole in the floor of the trunk for easy replacement. I actually have a Cummins inline pump that I use for transferring fuel from my old Freightliner, that I replaced with a Fass years ago.
