Finally was notified my EGR Airflow valve has arrived. The part number on the card was CH5142799-AA.

If you have had yours replaced how does this P/N compare, I am trying to see if they are sending the same part or this is a new improved version?

Thanks

I was tracking this a while back. Looks like the same number with a CH prefix. I would expect a revised part to have something done to the "aa" at the end, but I really don't know.

Just had mine replaced last week, part #'s were 5166555-AB, VALVE EGR 14038024 and 5142815-AA, GASKET EG 9001004. Hope that helps.

By the way, had all the flashes done and the transmission still "studders". 35,550 miles, getting close to that 36,000 mile mark.

Transmission is covered under 7/70 Powertrain wty. As long as you service it the way the maintenance schedules says it should be serviced, you're covered a while longer. 3/36 is the full bumper-to-bumper. Don't sweat it nycrd.

Hey, by the way what is the deal with registering a CRD in NY State since they are not sold there? Is it like California where passenger diesels may only be brought into the state and registered if they have more than 7500 mis on them or are there other restrictions and rules?
