I said the same thing but look at the first page of this link. The picture of FOUROS liberty has this bumper and the picture shows them alittle better.

Still not digging them. I like the mounting RL used for his on the very front of the bumper not decreasing the approach angle any.

It looks pretty much the same to me. Those shackles hang down too low and I'd be concerned about the mount bending if there was any side to side movement while a recovery was taking place.

so if you buy the bumper take it to a local weld shop, they will be able to move them for you...prolly wouldnt cost to much, If you have the tools ie angle grinder and welder you could do it yourself at home for next to nothing...

Guys, they really are'nt as bad or as low as you think. I've put this bar though some decent testing and you'd have to be playing in some seriously large rock garden to damage these shackle mounts. I too thought they were a bit low but I have been proved wrong on the trail.

The steel for the mounts are 1/2 or maybe just a little bit more, If you saw how they were attached you'd be amazed, oh and forget about an angle grinder to remove them, you'll need an oxy ............

Well guys, it doesn't matter how low they are, you will hit them

As you all know I have been trying to trash Imean testing RL's bumpers, and have pulled rock buggies and hit the shackles on numerous things with no damage to the shackle tabs. They may marty builds it, the shcakle tabs are directly on the mounts, not just welded to the face. If you relocate the shackle tabs on any bumper, ensure the tabs are not just butt welded to the face of your bumper, way to weak.

But, now at least we have options, so if you do not like one, you do not have to buy it. Now we can get what we like the most versus just what is available. We have come a long way in 6 years.

Just to let everybody know i recieved a phone call from TJM today. They told me bumper goes to cali for test fit then production. I was told about three months we will see them , they will run about 500-700. The guy wasn't sure but he said it would be around the same price as there other t16/t17 bars.
