I know there are tons of posts about this but nothing seems real clear.

I am looking to run Revo's of about 31" size with a 2.5 or 3" suspension lift.

Any recommendations or actual photos of this being done successfully. I'm leaning towards Rusty's or Frankenlift......please help!

I want to mod this 2006 very soon....Thanks!

You can't go wrong with either one. The Frankenlift will probably give you the best offroad performance. Rusty's is a good lift as well. I am sure those that have it will tell you about it. I have the Frankenlift and love it. What I read when I was looking was the Frankenlift was the best but also more expensive than Rusty's. If money is an issue go with Rusty's if not go with the Frankenlift but I am a little biased.

From what I have read the rear shocks on rusty's are crap so if you add in replacement rear shocks cost its pretty close price wise to Frankenlift. The Frankenlift is using OME and rancho parts just better quality stuff. I don't even have mine yet but just from the reading I have done I am a big advocate of the Frankenlift . I will have mine in a couple weeks and it will be go time!! Flex pictures will be coming soon after that hehe.

FYI - The Frankenlift uses spacers.

first the frankinlift is just what it is called
it is a mixed bag of parts from different mfg.s to give max lift
max lift does not = best off road perforamance it only = max lift nothing else
if you put on OME springs rancho shocks and struts and the polly spacer that rustys sells you get the same lift

I used only common sence to figure this out
when the KJ needed new struts and shocks I put on the OME springs and shocks with rancho struts wich = best ride ,IMO
this also = ~1.5-2" of lift all I need to do is install the spacers and new rear shocks when she is not using it as a DD and presto frankinlift

I say do what you want but I also say dont beleive the hype

If money is not an issue go with Rusty's full coil lift. Yeah you could spend more on the other lift, but it includes spacers, will cause upper balljoint contact and has less flex and worse offroad performance. You will either end up destroying your suspension or buying new control arms. I have Rusty's and absolutely love it. Longer springs make me and my suspension very :D It is a virtually problem free lift that can easily be added to. You will have to do some trimming/pinchweld bashing no matter what lift you go with, it's just the nature of the beast. Hope this helps :?:
