I thought for a very short time that Rock Krawler were honest and really gave a darn but once again I am floored.

I dealt with Matt and he basically called me a liar, dishonest and then questioned why he is even dealing with me since
the parts were purchased last September.

He basically wants me to prove to him that their rear control arm will not fit by putting it up on a car lift and take some
digital pictures. I already had the original control arms out and tried theirs. There was almost a 3/4 inch gap on each side
of the bushing , so yea, the thing does not fit. The problem is the early 02 and some 03's as I understand had a wider
rear control arm which was subsequently downsized . I can't help it if Rock Krawler doesn't know the vehicles for which
they are offering parts. Instead of getting an appology for which any upstanding business would do, I was told I'm being unreasonable, how ironic.

They did this same thing for sure to a CRD owner on the list, goodness knows how many other . Speak up PLEASE!!

I'll add to this later, because I am still a little hot under the Krawler.................scuz the pun !!!

Suffice it to say I ended the conversation very abruptly, they'll never get any of my business again . I have two rear
control arms that require special zirc grease fittings that they didn't send ( Matt says impossible theey were not included)
and a rear control arm fitting that requires bushings that don't even exsit . That's O.K. Mattie, as I said to you lastly, since you have not the knowledge, I'll do it myself .

I've changed their name to reflect their products and customer service to be Rock Krapper because that is what they will take on you if you give them a chance.

Sorry to hear you are part of the unfortunate ones that gave them a try like myself.

I told Matt that they have a bad reputation on the Lost KJ forum, but it was like pouring water on a ducks back, he just argued through my comments. He said something negative about spamming and then I countered saying " have you given any thought to the concept that you desirve it" but alas I was wasting my breath, they can't be wrong .

I'll gladly report them but I will need feedback from every member that has had issues with them to do so .
Then again I'm in Canada so would I be the best person to report them??

I doubt emailing would work because individually we are being told that we are liars, so I don't imagine a
email, even in numbers would work any better .

I personally feel if we collectively put together a list of statements , sent it to the better business bureau and their colleagues ( meaning the competion ), it would at least embarssment, or hopefully the BBB would be able to take them to
task .

I might be completely ignorant to this, but wouldn't SEMA be the body to report this issue to?
http://www.semasan.com/main/main.aspx?ID=/content/SEMASANcom/HomePage
I thought that the BBB was more of a local body that really doesn't have any "teeth", but at least SEMA represents people like us who modify our vehicles...
Just my $.02
Good luck with working out the problems.

You may be correct with this, however not being a US citizen , I am unable to join. Anyone in the fold
a member of SEMA that would like to send Rock Krawler a little wake up message ?

... well that makes two of us... I'm a resident alien and you're.... canadian.
Just kidding about the Canada crack. I love visiting my uncle in victoria, and my wifes family in toronto. It reminds me of being in england the way things are subtly different, and the gas being sold in liters ;)

Bacl to the topic at hand, anyway, I think that the link I posted was not entirely acurate as I did it a bit rushed. I went to the SEMA site and did a search for "rock krawler" and they came up. I don't know for sure, but I think that they are a SEMA member, and they probably attend the SEMA show and use whatever benifits being a SEMA member provides. I would imagine that if you (canadian or american) got together and approached SEMA about this, they might put some pressure on rock krawler to fix the problem to avoid making the other SEMA members appear bad. SEMA is a very reputable organization and I am sure they they would be willing to do something?

Good luck, and sorry for posting a link that didn't illustrate my point.

I have read several articles/forums where Rock Krapper just gets a beating (which they disserve). My conclusion is they sell to make money not to built loyalty/rapport with their customers. If you call the BBB they might be able to guide you in the right direction to where you may escalate this issue.

Usually they get rage reveiws on their products that are installed by pros for a magazine article, but who wouldn't get good results under those circumstances.

This is true, I've seen "rave" reviews by magazines and online but they're never installing KJ products. I would say that RK simply doesn't want KJ-owners' loyalty, why else would they treat almost every KJ owner who buys their products like crap over the phone? That's just asking for that person to get online and bash them about it. I wouldn't be surprised to see their whole KJ product-line (two lifts now?) fold over in the next few months. They don't care, and we shouldn't care losing such a crappy company's POS products.

That is not Rock Krawler Suspensions. That is Rockcrawlerracing.com...which doesn't exist anymore.
