Has anyone confirmed a new style tranny pump in an 06 CRD? Supposedly one of the two that I am lookin at is one of the last 10 or so off the line.

I am really close to pulling the trigger on a CRD. I am down to a couple of them. One is a very late 06 (pearl khaki). I haven't seen it yet so I can't tell what the color really looks like. It appears very pretty. Anyway, I called the local dealer and they said that it was bought in November 06. It has 15K miles on it. They said that it had the F31 recall done, the ball joint recall done, but no F37. I am supposing that it was detuned from the factory, is this correct?

The other one is the Patriot Blue with 32k miles, an extended warranty through Toyota Extra Care Platinum to 100K miles. It has had the F37 done and a new torque converter. It has navigation and a lift (not sure which one) on it too.

I am planning on a Suncoast TC and have already paid for my SEGR. Which Jeep do you think would be best? It would help to know if the later CRD had the new version of the tranny pump.

Thanks for the input.

Mine is a May 06 build, and was pre-neutered from the factory w/ the F37. Personally, I'd lean towards the one with the 15k on it, if it is cheaper than the 32k w/ warranty. A Toyota Extra Care warranty on a diesel CRD will be next to worthless.... we have a hard enough time finding trained Chrysler techs to work on them.
