Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone has pics of having more than one radio or reciever mounted? I installed my 2M last week and I still need to install a CB, and I will eventually be getting at least another 440 if not a dual band so I'm just looking for some ideas. I have one CB otherwise I would just buy one of the cobra 75's ??? I think they are that everything is hidden away. I might still end up getting one.
Thanks.

Jason

Well, I've got my HF Radio head mounted on the dash now, next to my GPS unit:

And my dual-band radio is on the passenger side of the center console (which I know I have a picture of, I just need to find it). If you CB is small enough it could mount in the small pocket next to the front power outlet, otherwise there are some other options.

I was thinking about trying to cut out the pocket next to the power outlet. Maybe fiberglass a little border around it once it's in place.

Well it's not really that deep and there is some metal frame behind there for the dash so you might look at other areas. Some folks just plop a CB between either the drivers or passengers seat and the center console, some mount them on the side of the console and some mount them to the knee bolster (plastic section under the steering column). Some even drop them in the center console pocket and run the wires out underneath. It just depends on how creative you want to get...

Yeah, I had looked at all those places. There are heater/AC vents that run underneath the center console so that makes it hard to mount anything in too. Maybe if I get one with the remote face like you I could mount it in there. I'll probably have to mount something between my leg and the center console. I just don't want it to be in the way. I've got the 2M installed on the passenger side of the console. I was also thinking about the ceiling too, but don't know how that would look plus it would be in a difficult spot to see unless I removed the overhead lights. I'll probably end up getting a new CB so all I have to worry about mounting is the mic. That would probably be the easiest.
