I want to know how strong it is and how much weight you figure it'll hold.
Says "some drilling required" I figure it's for screws just strong enoug to hold the gate up
Thanks for any help

I reckon it'll stop anything I'm likely to put in the back from making a hole in my head.

You need to drill the trim around the post behind the rear door, then drill the post itself and install a NutZert (one each side). They hold the top of the guard: the bottom fits over the seat catch brackets.

I wanted the doggie rack since I have two dogs and I don't want them to jump around the car while driving.

So I went to my local stealer and they wanted 380€ for the thing. Then they told me I would probably have to pay an additional 60€ to have it installed since it is fitted with bolts to the C pillar and to the hooks the rear seats lock in. It's what?

That means you can never take it out easy when you have to load something big. Since I am building my own house at times I need to load lots of stuff in my car like last week a concrete mixer.

So pass on the MOPAR one. I've got mine from Vmaxx Germany, will cost you 202,17€ (excl. Shipping) and being custom build it has 2 hooks that grab the upper mounting bolts of the rear safety belts. It's just as sturdy and strong as the MOPAR one, but I can have this one in and out within 30 secs. Another big plus: it also fits behind the front seats when you have the rears down so your cargo won't brake your neck if something happens.

Pic says more then a thousand words:

That looks really nice. Never heard of the company before, but seems impressive. If you can, take a pict of it slotted behind the front seats too.

You know, looking at your picture, I realize that I had nearly forgotten that the rear seats actually had headrests. I took those things off the day I bought the truck and have never put them back on.

You may also notice they have center head rests in the back. Pretty neat if you often have kids back there!

Probably blocks some of the view though.

Thats nice. I bought mine at Sams club, it is a universal one and cost 20 dollars. 180 is a bit much.

I have been looking for one for the KK. Does that first, or second one come for it? I dig the beefyness. I have a problem with me dog hopping into the back seat.

Look at the shadows on the center rest. I think he's right...center back.

Now I can't remember if mine had that or not. My 01 Jetta had three headrests in the back...did the KJ only have two? I'll have to look at the empty holes and count...:-)

mine only has 2 headrests in the back, so is that just another non-US model thing?

Well mine's Canehdian and doesn't have the center H/R. It would probably look terrible with the seat being leather anyway... that's my way of dealing with something I don't have LOL

Looks to be the driver's side headrest.

All the UK KJs have 3 headrests as well. I think that its required by law - if 3 seatbelts are fitted , then there have to be 3 head restraints as well

Same here, 3 headrests. The one in the middle is smaller then the ones on the right and left so that's why it looks a bit funny.

And when placed at their lowest you do not see them in the rear few mirror.
