15" rims

So i looked up some prices for new tires and tirerack.com came back with $180ish per tire for 275 45 16 bf goodrich AT....at the same time the price for 31x10 15 came in at $135. JC whitney has black steel rims for about the price of the difference.

Here comes the actual question: with a OME lift will these tires fit with minimal rubbing? will they fit the rim?

i read a post somewhere that said 15" wheels might be too small????????

with the OME lift you shouldnt have to much rub you might have some but nothing real bad. On 15" wheels, what are you looking at? usually the steel wheels will work like the Cragars which is what is most widely used on here, like the Soft 8's.

Depends on backspacing. To run a 15" I believe you will need 3.75" BS.

Why on EARTH would you want a 275/45-16 on a KJ? And I'm pretty DANG sure they don't even make them in that size.

Why on EARTH would you want a 275/45-16 on a KJ? And I'm pretty DANG sure they don't even make them in that size.

I bet it was a typo and he meant to say 245/75 :wink:

LOL I was getting worried that somebody was gonna put an 11" wide low-profile street tire on their KJ to go off road :lol:
