Yep with a unlimited budget Jeep went all out and custom made most of that KJ that you will never see again. The lift was a prototype SuperLift that never was produced for lack of demand.Soon the Liberator will be crushed per law due to not having a VIN #,what a waste.

Good luck with that, you'll never see that lift, ever since the KJ is no longer being made and that lift will not work with the KK and as of right now there is not enough demand for KK lifts either for even OME to consider a lift so SuperLift will, and had, passed many, many years ago.

What are the wheels on the KK version? They look pretty clean.
Too clean actually. Needs mud.

Geez, someone should sneak in there and slap their VIN number on there when no one's looking. Hmmm. 8)

ThunderbirdJunkie will donate his VIN to the cause.

In exchange, his beat piece of crap can be exchanged for the crusher.

No, seriously, ThunderbirdJunkie would selflessly sacrifice his own KJ to save the Liberator

(in his own garage)

Now that there is a bailout I can support....

as long as it is my VIN and then in gets parked in my driveway...not going in the garage as I want everyone driving by to be able to see it...LOL

I also read where the rear axle was relocated rearward 3" to accomodate those tires

edit

"In order to keep the wheelbase optimum, the rear axle was relocated rearward 3 inches. This allowed for the clearance of much larger 35-inch Goodyear MT/R tires. This would prove to be enough to conquer the trails of Moab. The rear axle of the Liberator is a Dana 44 straight from Venezuela containing an air locker out of a Jeep TJ Rubicon."

nice article
I remembered the plates & wondered about what you said about the VIN...double take, manufacturer plates, sad

This picture makes them look a little smaller and more like the stock ones.

The liberators look stretched, see how they go past the front grill a bit.

if we could just get them to build us that extended steering knuckle, that would solve a few problems.

hell... with that knuckle and a cradle drop you could have a 4-6 inch lift w/o putting lots of stress on diff & CV's. It would be a nice option.

wtf why do companys always have to look at profit margins when it comes to stuff like this

your you would still be limited to the tire size, your only gaining flex

yes, and that is good. i'll take a 4+" lift with 32" tires and more flex anyday. We would have more potential... but thats probally not going to happen  well i promise this, if i ever hit the powerball, i will have a badass lift made and have it at an affordable price! So there you go
