She usually responds when you send a PM. The last I spoke with her she was pretty busy with her job and she was also a part-time off-road driving instructor. 8) I can’t remember for sure………….

Busy is cool. I just hadn't seen a post from her in a while. I didn't have anything I needed to ask her or anything, just wondering if she was okay. Good to hear that her disappearance is due to her being busy and not something else.

Hey, I’m sure she would appreciate knowing that you’re making sure everything is cool. 8) That’s part of being in the LOST family. 8) There was one time when I didn't post for a few weeks and TOM was shooting me PM's as though I had left the face of the earth. He was making sure my health was okay, my marriage was still intact, etc. Made me feel good that someone was checking on me. :D

Anyway, I was trying to talk CaKJFreedom into towing her camper to the LOST Safari…………. But now I might chicken out and pull my camper with my truck. Hmmmm, I might have to ride shot gun in someone’s KJ.

She was training Rover owners how to drive off-road (I hope she didn't have to tow too many out)

Ditto to what diesel said. I was going through a rough patch a few months back and had a few members PM me to make sure everything was cool. It really meant a lot to me to know that people cared enough to reach out.

I so love you guys! How is this place not the best! I'm totally touched by your concern, thanks. Got time for a quick update?

I'm a store manager with OfficeMax, got a three week notice first week of February that they'd be closing my store down. Busting butt ensues to get it done correctly and cleanly. Get transferred to a San Jose store with three weeks to prep a jacked store for inventory. More butt busting. Got it done, got excellent reviews on the prep, now they're transferring me to another store whose inventory is coming up too.

So life's busy, incredibly happy to have a job. Oh, and bought a house, should be moving in about a month. Still with Land Rover on non-existent days off from the real job. I'm really looking forward to a steadier routine coming back around that gives time for work and play.

Taking the trailer for a road trip is sooooo dang tempting........ :D

See y'all when I can!

Out of all the retail options, you get out pretty easy at an office store. I put in 11 years with Toys R Us. Christmas here is cake!

Hey Nan,
Glad to hear you're busy. I got the privilege of "cleaning up" trouble restaurants in the late 80's so I can feel your pain. You just get things ticking over nicely and they move you to another store because you did so well with this one  .

Take care! Hope to see you down this way for a trail run again.
