MOST oil adds are a scam. There are a few good ones...a VERY FEW...

I would not use Duralube or ZMax.

Fuel or oil additives? What are you trying to accomplish?

FTR, Amsoil doesn't make oil additives (cept their engine Cleaner).
They just make Really Great Full Synthetic oils.

^^^^I don't use any oil additives. Just use a good syn oil like Valvoline Syn in 5w30wt year round. I have also used Mobil 1. A good oil should have enough proper additives.

As far as fuel additives I use Techron Fuel System Cleaner about every 6 months or so.

Dura-Lube is junk. I don't know anything about the ZMax.

I know everyone will have their own prefferences, but I think a quality oil is good enough with regular changes. Just my opinion.

For fuel system cleaning the Techron should be ok for cleaning the fuel system.

Anyway, thats what I do.

Just my opinion.

FTR....I use Seafoam for everything. I wouldn't say I'm trying to accomplish something. I overheard a conversation that some people were having regarding ZMax. I was curious to see if anybody here uses it and what their opinion was. I like my Seafoam. The only other thing I would use in the tank or the case would be Amsoil products.

I really like BG44k (napa product) as a good fuel additive. It works wonderfully. The only draw back is the price- 20-25$.However, not too much $ for every 6 months as general maintenance.
A lot of shops will put it in for you, and then charge you around $50. That works out to 30$ a minute, or 1800$ an hour, if my math is correct.
