Just a note:

08 KKs are good for about 2 hours of playing music before the battery is drained.

LAME

Do you have the premium sound with subwoofer? Extra speakers and especially the sub will drain the battery quicker.

I've played mine for a good 3-4 hours before while working in the garage, and the battery was fine. Volume is usually around 15-20 when I do so.

Time for a Optima Yellow Top.I can blast my stereo with a 750watt amp and two 10" subs for about 6 hours and my Jeep still starts,no hesitation either.

i lost my faith in optimas when they just stop working after being exposed to 10F weather for a night and i drained my red top playing music on my 1600 watt system in my civic in about 30 mins or less. the voltage dropped to less then 10V (required for cranking) after first 5 mins:)

I've got the premium sound system and I can vouch for good battery life. On my last camping (read: drinking with nature) trip with a ton of people we were listening to music for 4+ hours and the KK started right up afterwards.
