Wheres it hidin? Under the passenger seat? Pic? LOL

 Behind the right rear panel by the window. There is a 8 or 10 pin connector back there. I believe that the wire is meant for the amp that came on the nitros starting in 07 and was finally used on some of the 09 KK's

Thanks for the tip.

Digger, is there any extra isolators I can get for the rear of the KK? When we got the Jeeps fully loaded with people and three big dogs in the back the rear is a tad low past level. Any tips? It's not often we have that big of a load. The lift leveled the KK out so it isn't raked like before.

SkinInc69, did you get your KK reflashed after the tire change?

I haven't yet had time to change wheels and tires, but my dealer told me they're not allowed to reflash for larger tires -- I didn't clarify if this was a dealer rule or Jeep/DCX c.y.a. rule.

Digger, keep me posted if they come out with an iso pad type trick for the back of the KK.

The speedo is still calibrated for stock tires. I will buy a programmer one day so I can change it. Till then no crazy speeding above the posted speed limit.

255/70/16 is 1" over stock. It's a 30" tire ... The speedo won't change that much.

Just get more stock springs isolators. I picked up 4 from my dealer already, have not installed them. In stock form, there is 1 on the top and bottom of each spring. I may need 2 more, or all 4 to get the stance I want.

They are only $6 each IIRC.

The only problem with the stock ones is they are not very thick... unlike the kj's

Ahh, I didn't know the KJ's were thicker. I think these are about 1/3" each, which is why I might need to add 2 more per side in the back.

Well today I finally got the lift installed in the KK. It is a 2" front and rear Daystar lift with BDS shocks. The tires are 255/70-16 BF Goodrich AT's on Eagle Alloy 16x8's with 4.75" backspacing. ZERO rub! Not even close to rubbing thanks to the pinch weld mod and my trimming.

Man this thing looks a million times better then stock. I was getting looks like crazy as I drove around this evening. I hope you enjoy!

SkinInc69, are those Eagle Alloys the Series 1378 in Super Finish Black? That's what they look like to me, but according to American Eagle's published specs, the Series 137(8) in 16x8 with 5x4.5" bolt pattern (p/n 1378-7812) has 4.625" of backspacing. Please don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to nitpick 1/8", but wondering if there is some other Eagle Alloy wheel with nearly 5" of backspacing that I've overlooked or if they've got other options not listed on their website.

Just trying to clarify to fully understand what worked so well for you.

Thanks.

I don't have the receipt in my file... but I'll double check later. Digger, I wrote down the model that's on the parts breakdown you posted a while ago, and brought it to the dealer. He looked it up just based on description (I guess he didn't trust me) and I'm 99% sure it was the same part number.
