Going out to trim the bumper to stop my rubbing and the water bottle will be visible/in the way after I'm done trimming ( I'm going to cut away the area where the fog lights live )

Where have people relocated the water bottle to ? Did you re-use the factory bottle or put something new in ?

I used a coolant overflow bottle from Advance auto. Plus some wire to extend the harness and a hole saw and rtv sealant for the pump.

Water bottle relocation is the only time I envy you spark-infested engine guys. No room in the CRD engine bay for that kind of coolness.

One word of advice, mark what hose goes to the rear/front before removing them and relocating/refilling the new bottle.

I broke my water bottle when I did the bumper install so I don't even have one now. Nor have I bothered to install a new one. A spray bottle with the window rolled down works too.

icarl's avatar looks great to me.

Here is my washer bottle relocation, sorry the picture is awful.
Image
I made a cradle that I can tighten around the bottle so it doesn't move around and a few turns with a wrench and it can come right out.

I don't have an advanced auto near me so I picked up a coolant overflow bottle from pepboys ( think its 2 qt but its still a little bottle ) and I don't have any place to fit it - tried where you guys are mounting yours and no go :(

What size is the advanced auto bottle ? Does my 03 have more crap in the engine compartment than yours giving me poor fits ?

Not sure if yours has more or not, but mine was a real tight fit. The bottle isn't real big either.

the biggest problem with my bottle is it fits inside of a bent wire holster ( 3/16" dia wire ), So I can kinda force the bottle into position but there's no room for the holster to keep it secured...

Inc - can you take a shot showing more the area the bottle is in ?

Where you have the bottle mounted I have the computer and some electrical harnesses only giving me about 6" height to play with - the bottle is 9" tall...

I'd have plenty of places to put it if I could get rid of the darn airbox...

Sounds like a job for a new custom skid-plate

Mine is a 1.5qt bottle. Try Napa or AutoZone, they might have it.
