I've got a DTT in the rear of the KJ and love it. I'm wondering if anyone is running a DTT in the front with the NV242. Are there problems when running FT4WD? I typically use FT4WD in the snow and ice.

On snow, ice, mud,or sand you will not have a issue with a front DTT in fulltime. You will however have real heavy steering in fulltime with a front DTT on wet or dry pavement, some extra tire wear and suspension wear will be a issue also from the added stress if used in fulltime on wet or dry pavement.

I don't use FT4WD unless there is snow and ice. The DTT with the Silent Armors in 2WD does fine in very heavy rain unless I'm being stupid. If I'm being stupid, with the amount of torque mine puts to the ground, it's very easy to whip the rear end around or do doughnuts. I'm just trying to insure that I can make it on my ski trips no matter what. The day I can't get to the slopes, I'm going to be absolutely terrible to deal with. It's going to be next summer before I do this unless something breaks before then since I moved this summer's Jeep budget to the firearms budget, just in case. However, being a Systems Engineer, I'm the type that tends to plan everything out ahead of time.
