Hey everybody,

I need some help with a chattering noise that is coming from the engine bay when I turn heater or air conditioner on. I think it might be a tension pulley that is making that noise but Im not sure. It used to only make that noise when the Jeep is parked and I turn the wheel left or right. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Have you raised the hood and looked at the belt while the A/C is on? You probably have the A/C on when you have the heat on and its putting a large load on the belt.

As you said, could possibly be a bad tensioner.
