Issue of the day: with my new tires and rims the stupid air pressure warning light is on all the time. I didn't think I even had tire pressure monitoring for some reason.

What do you guys do when you buy new wheels? I was planning on having 2-3 sets of wheels and tires, but the light is very annoying and I sure as hell don't plan on blowing $250+ on each set just to make a light turn off.

If I can move the sensors from my old wheels, I may just put them in my summer wheels and live with the light on my winters. It does not affect cruise, I just checked. If it did it would be a deal breaker.

I wish I could just disable the light, its annoying...

Take apart the dash and cover with electrical tape :seuss:

Chip, On Towstap's 05 I pulled the dash cluster out and apart and coverd the "led tire light" with a vac. plug. I just stuck it in the hole!! worked great cannot see the "tire light" illumination !! :BANANA:

What kind of a job is it to get the the dash cluster? I don't have my FSM at work.

Chip, I think you will need a 7mm , 6.6mm or 7/32, 1/4 and a extension and a 1/4 ratchet remove the left piller plastic with the grab handle, and remove the trim around the dash cluster and pop up the dash pad then you can remove the cluster and cover the led TPM light !! :BANANA:
