anyone in the forum have the tune done for TN. I have emissions for Williamson County that I have to pass. Any special classifications, etc.

Mine just passed in CO, if that's any help. The numbers for opacity were well under the limits, and there were no engine codes. So if that's what TN checks for, you should be fine.

You should be alright... If you're concerned about it, run some biodiesel (maybe B20) through the tank the week before you fill up and during the test. Should come out squeaky clean :)

Do they put a sniffer up the tail pipe? Here, anything with OBDII passes if no CEL are on.

Diesels technically don't get emission tested in Utah, but they fail the 'safety' inspection if any dash lights are on.

That's what I figured, in which case the GDE is fine. As long as they don't get to sniffing actual NO2, CO2 etc, we are all fine with mods that don't create a lot of smoke or visually changing stuff, ie , removing the cat.
