Hello. I have seen drilled and or slotted rotors for the liberty on ebay. I have also read that liberty's braking suck's. I thought about theses rotors but it seem's to me the hole's or slot's would hold mud rocks, ect. What do you think?

Pass on any brake parts from fleabay. Skip the drilled rotors also.Slotted rotors are good as long as there made by Powerslot or EBC.

You will never... NEVER... require anything but a quality set of standard rotors and pads for your Jeep. Remember, you get what you pay for, and when it comes to lives I will NEVER go half-ass. As for the Liberty's brakes sucking, if you are using them enough to fade, you need to slow the hell down... it's an SUV! I have had no problems yet with my brakes holding in any situation I have found myself in. That includes fighting against a CRD in 4-lo and country roads.

Furthermore, you are quite correct with the thoughts that slotted or drilled rotors will trap gunk, which will kill your pads that much quicker. Also, unless you spend $$$ on proper slotted/drilled, you are doing more harm than good. Cheapies are known to crack and warp quite easily.

I got use to the brakes real quick. I just had to act like i was driving my big truck. What i had read was reviews saying the brakes were poor and you can slide real easy. dont know if its true, but i have done great so far. :)
