Its so hard to get B100 anymore. A Western Convenience right next to my church used to sell B20. It was awesome to be able to tank up and not worry about lubricity. They quit selling B20 after they got busted for mispresenting the fuel as Bluesun bio and than sold B5 for a while before they quit selling biodiesel blends completely ;-(

I'm currently using 32 oz of biodiesel per tank in my wife's Grand Cherokee and I'm using a 50/50 mixture of biodiesel and ashless 2 stroke oil in my Liberty (16 oz per tank). I use the 2 stroke to stretch out the bio that I recently obtained.

Yeah, we're back in New Mexico fulltime. And I hope this is where we’ll retire…. 8)

According to Amsoil, the test was accurate. The only argument that they have is that the test looked at one aspect of diesel fuel additive properties. They said it is important to consider the ability to clean-up and improve combustion. The tests for these properties are relatively expensive and hence were not included in this study.

Amsoil also said that running 5% biodiesel is a very good natural lubricant for diesel fuel and provides more than enough lubricity. 8)

yes its too bad commercial biodiesel isn't more commonly available..:(
I think some of this is due the biodiesel incentive that shipped millions of gallons of biodiesel over seas at taxpayers expense..this was due to a poorly written law..the tax incentive should have only applied to locally(US since US taxpayers are paying)..but it didn't and was killed after a period of time. sad :(..

I still make my own..and will do so until the told otherwise..of course I try to keep the waste as 'green' as possible.

Been using the 2 stroke oil in both the Lib & my Dodge for years with no problems. We don't have any local stations that sell bio around here.

I have a local station that sells B50. How much of it per tank would equal the results seen on the survey?

You need just under half a gallon of B100 to make B2 in our tank of just over 20 gallons. Since B50 is half the concentration of B100, you need twice that amount. Just put in a gallon and be done with it.
