My luck finally ran out yesterday. I have been running around for about a year without covers on my aux. lights that I mounted on my roof rack. I was on my way to work and saw a cop pull out and follow me, I knew I was'nt speeding so when the red&blue's came on I knew my luck was out. He was cool about it and just warned me to get covers or next time I'll get cited $94 per light, so where can I get covers for the small rectangle shaped fog lighs? They are the getto ones you get at Harbor Freight.

Thanx

Sorry they are the white aux. lights not the yellow fogs. But are the same size as HarborFreight's fog,s. Nice idea on the crown royal bags, but I don't think the warden would see the logic in buying 3 more bottles of crown to make a set of 4. Any other ideas?

Temporary use, you could use electrical tape to cover them to avoid a ticket. Then when you get covers use rubbing alcohol or acetone to remove the glue.

Why are they giving you a hard time? What about all the KJ's and work trucks with those cheap worklights on top pointing back ward?

KC HiLItes have covers that are 5X7 or 6X9, they are soft vinylk, those may work, should not be too pricey. Of course they do say KC on them!
My self, I have a bunch of shop rags that I would just tie on! They are kind of oily and dirty so would be dark colored to match my Black KJ

I have some IPF round lights that don't have covers other than a bit of a brush guard. I was thinkin' that perhaps with a bit of black spray paint, Glad Quick Covers might work.

I know IPF makes some clear rock guards....do you know it these would count as covers??? I think it'd be kinda nice to have them "covered" to get by the cops, but have them clear so you can still use them...

Gotta love Macgyver!!! :P

Have you seen the mastercard commercial?

I woulda said duct tape, but since this is a temporary solution, electrical tape is better since (the cheap stuff) has real cruddy glue.
