HELLO FROM GREECE.
THIS IS MY FIRST TIME HERE AND I AM HAPPY TO BE WITH GOOD CRD-ERS.
SO,MY 2.5 CRD ISN'T STRONG ANYMORE.IT CAN'T ACCELERATE AS IT COULD AND CAN'T REACH EVEN MORE 2800 RPM WITH THE 5TH GEAR (IT IS MANUAL).
WHAT COULD BE?IT ISN'T PROBLEM WITH THE HOSES(I HAVE CHANGED WITH HANDMADE-SILICON HOSES).

The 2800 rpm limit indicates your Jeep is in limp-home mode. This can occur without having a check engine light as most codes will not set a CEL outside the US market. Take the vehicle to a dealer or diesel shop that can check the fault codes. If you post them we can be in a better position to assist.

Hiya Nick. It would help if you turned caps lock off. (on your keyboard, it will do nothing for your KJ, lol)

Guys, Nick has a 2.5 early export like mine.

So no fancy volumetric turbo, no FCV, no electric EGR etc.

Nick, have you disconnected the EGR? If not, maybe it's leaking and now stays open? The code you post is a pressure sensor malfunction on an automatic gearbox...you have a manual...

Otherwise a good clean of the MAP sensor may help (the sensor in the intake manifold, right next to the fuel pressure sensor).

Gee Tony if your going to tell him to clean the sensors then at least make sure he knows how to do it - he could really mess himself up if he used a strong solvent.

Sensors should only be cleaned with MAF type cleaning fluid or contact cleaner.

Nick

Refer to Sir Sams Noob guide and you will pick up a lot of advice on what to look for bearing in mind that you have the 2.5CRD.

Starting point is to get the correct error code and start with one thing at a time otherwise before you know it, you could end up spending your bonus
on spares that you don't need.
