Hey everyone, long time!

Looking for recommendations on replacements for front struts and rear shocks with a Rusty's suspension lift. Had the lift on for years and have been very happy with it, and now it's come time to replace the front and rears.

Thanks in advance, and part numbers would be much appreciated!

J

front shocks - http://jeepinbyal.com/prod-OME_Front_Strut-620.aspx

rear shocks - http://jeepinbyal.com/prod-OME_Rear_Long_Shock-622.aspx

these are OME shocks, but they are the best shocks on the market for a lifted liberty IMO and for most others opinions.

and where in NE IL are you? think you can swing a meet and greet sometime and possibly we can help you swap them :)

LOL, yeppers!! That's the rig, alright. All 145k miles and all! Did you have your KJ in the parking lot? I don't remember seeing one in the BB parking lot.

i sent ya a pm

but back to topic of the shocks and such, we can easily tackle this on a saturday or sunday if the il group wants to meet up at my place and good around and help ya out. or you can go the Rancho route, or possibly even get new coils and shocks all around if you want to beef it up more

Bilstiens are Garbage I lost a set and LTT also lost one under similar circumstances shotty hit or miss quality. Rancho's or OME's are the best option but that's my :2cents:

I would say most would do OK with Bilsteins
most do not push the boundary's as much as others which sometimes leads to failures.
I still have a blown Rancho RSX out in the garage, but it was me trying to do something beyond what it would take

Thanks again for all the input, guys.

Stingn, I'll keep ya posted on when I'm coming back to IL and maybe we can hook up and get these swapped out if ya have time. Would be cool to meet another KJ'er!

To answer the question about mileage on the lift, I think I'm at 60k miles at this point. Been very happy with it and VERY happy with the KJ overall. Still goin strong!
