I am covered for the extended 7 year warranty that Chrysler sent out in a letter to us '06 and '07 owners a few months ago. Four days ago my driver side went out and was replaced under that warranty. Yesterday my left rear went out and was replaced today under warranty. The dealer told me that the new fix uses a steel plate, but I was not able to see it. Does it compare at all to the steiger plate? will it hold in your opinion? Is it a worthwhile fix?
Anybody seen it?
Am I STILL going to have nightmare problems until I finally break down and get the steiger kits?
Frustrated...
BTW, kudos to Chrysler for extending the warranty...

I just had both rear's done with the lift plate but did not see it either. At least it is a change from putting in the same old crappy parts. We'll see how it holds up; if neither breaks again by end of September then it will be an improvement for me.

Rear 2 replaced a few months ago with the "new" plates. Drivers front snapped last week, original design. Dealership replaced drivers side under warrant, and passenger as preventative replacement. About friggin time

Well, I am wondering if this is it:

It says it is from mopar. If this is the new fix, we are still screwed. #$%& PLASTIC!!!!
