hi
justed changed my clutch with new clutch kit,had too changed flywheel too and it running nice, but still have a little prob which was there before, when changing gears,a slight grind of gear when changing up into 2th gear only, doent happen in any other gear,if when im changing ,i clutch down and wait abit long before changing,it doesnt happen,we found spot where the is a blue plug down down ,maybe there should be a bleeder there
thing it might have trapped air but cant find a place too bleed it,all fluids are good levels
any ideas

I'm having the same issue. Although mine does it when it's cold only. Once it warms up, it shifts fine. I was thinking a 2nd gear synchro?

This might help you some.

we where thinking air trapped in clynders but couldnt find a place too bleed, might change the master clutch clynder then the slave as cheaper options than doing gearbox, got a quote too rebuild gearbox for 1100 euros

The clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder come together as an assembly with the piping attached.
I had mine replaced quite early in the Jeeps life while still under warranty due to the clutch pedal "squueking" on every depression. :?

Edit to add: The master/slave assembly comes pre-filled with fluid from the factory: The FSM states that the fluid level can be topped up but warns against overfilling. There is no mention made about bleeding the system, only replacement,so we have to assume that it is not possible to bleed it. This is a bit dumb as the fluid will absorb moisture and possibly dust over time, unless it is completely sealed off to the outside world :x
