I had to take my 05 renny in to the dealer for a bad vibration, I just bought it.
So they changed out the front drive shaft since there was a bad joint at the transfer case . I got it back and all seems well until i went to work and at highway speed when i let off the gas i get a bit of vibration and thumping but it don't do it while accelerating . So its back at the dealer and being looked at .
I don't think the mechanic knows what he is doing and all he can tell me is "all I hear is the tires, Man those thing are loud " ( cooper STT's ). so any help would be appreciated . I'm starting to regret buying this jeep but yet i love it

A little more info would be very helpful
How many miles
lifted or not
what type of lift if it is
condition of tires
What have you checked so far
Have they/you checked the rear u-joints? They can feel tight but are rusted together
rear tri link
tire balance
tires cupped out from not rotating them

Front driveshaft could of been rebuilt for 75-80 bucks by the way if it needed to be

2 inch spacer lift, 1 1/4 wheel spacers, tires look good some wear haven't rotated since just buying, 72,000 miles, and i have jacked it up and checked for excessive play and and wear and tear and everything feels solid im thinking rear drive shaft now but feels like its in the front. its pissing me off that i cant figure it out and the stealership is clueless. i understand all the after market stuff can cause drive line wear and speed up wear . the only reason i took it to Chrysler is that i just bought it and when i test drove it it had none of this going on and now im on my 2nd trip to them after they replaced the front drive shaft.

well the problem ended up being the right hand side of the front differential , stub shaft and intermediate shaft i think. the service adviser didn't know squat and the manager wont return my calls so im waiting for the service records to come in the mail to find out what all they fixed . the funny thing is they wouldn't let me talk to the tech that work on my Libby . It runs great now and no bad vibes

Hope you had some kind of warranty on it since you just bought it
Intermediate shaft and Cv is an issue after quite a few miles but cheap to repair
well maybe not at the dealer but....
