I'd like to suggest that you use polyurethane windshield sealant. you won't use much, but it will seal perfectly and never have an issue. You would do well to put sealant over the hole before inserting the nutcert and clamping it down, then using it again when you run the bolts in.

When I did this, I put two bolts in from underneath with sealant to hang it by, and it would have been ideal to do this on all in case I ever need to remove it.

Did you just seal bolt holes ? does the base of the light bar need any sealant where it contacts the roof?

i used sealant on the nutcert's and the on bolt holes before i screwed then in and the hole where the wiring gromit is at. there is no need to put sealant on between the roof and light bar
