Ok I've been on this all day but I'm 99.9999% sure I found the cause of my ses light and the lightening bolt light. Found several fraid wires on top of the engine. The plastic loom that surrounds the wires seems to be rottening away in several sections on the harness. If I could figure out how to post pics from my "My pics" folder on my computer I would show you exactly where (or I could text them to someone who could post them for me). The insulation was worn off and shiney copper was showing so they have been grounding out. Not every problem leads to the most expensive solution (thankfully). I wonder if the dealer would have found this before replacing several sensors first?...

Unlikely.

Don't say that Mack. I need this thing to not cost me a flippin' fortune for a change.... It has for sure fixed the fluxuating temp guage. The temp guage and the lightening bolt light started at the exact same time. I hope in some strange way that they are some how related electrically. I am concerned about the rear wheel or maybe even axle bearings. The wheel moves a good 1/8 inch all around on both rear wheels. I've been hearing a roaring somewhere in the jeep at all speeds and hearing a "clicking" sound from the rear when I get on the brakes real hard. This has got to be bad on the abs sensor and this is related to the brake pedal which is related to the throttle issue that was mentioned earlier. Maybe I'm just thinking too much.

You need to have the image "hosted" someplace where a log-in is not required to view or otherwise download. Check around at the other images on the forum and see where they are being hosted.

imageshack should work, others on the forum are using it. It may have something to do with your account security/sharing policy. When I clicked on your link above I got the following message:

I can't figure it out. I checked again and it is stated that by default all pics are public. I can text them or email them to someone and maybe they can post them.

one of your images seems to have been removed. The other is at this address:

I don't know why it isn't working for you.

Nope. It cost me $800 at the dealer trying to fix mine. Light would come on driving out of the dealer. I am still mad at myself for taking it to the stealership and not asking for my perfectly good sensors that they replaced.

the other pic was a close up of the same thing. It showed about 1/16 of an inch of exposed wire on 3 different wires. They were riding on the edge of the valve cover. I secured everything up with zip ties. Hopefully this was my issue. So far so good.

Unlikely.

Been a week now and no more issues at all with the strange ligntening bolt or check engine lights. The exposed wires rubbing the valve cover seems to have been the problem.
