Any members have or have access to or know where to get some timing belt tools locally? I started the project based on some information I saw here initially saying you don't really need them. The more I got into it I see that to do the job properly you really do. I read one member saying that you just take the belt off and the cams won't move or to use a drill bit to locate them. Now that I'm getting into it I see it's not a matter of holding the cams in place but getting the timing correct with the new belt and weather the cams move or not isn't the issue but that the belt tolerance can put your timing off. Can you do it and make it work without the tools. Sure. But there is no guarantee it's going to be right. So anyway not being a backyard hack type tech I want to do the job correct and get the proper tools. If anyone knows where I can get some in the Seattle area (preferably east side) that would be great! Otherwise I"ll have to call GDE and try to get them from them. The girlfriend just won't be happy to have her jeep down for a few days.
