There must've been a crap load of friction in my front diff, I've past my usual mileage for a fill up and I still have almost a quarter tank left. It runs better too.

That's good to hear. You might be up around 20 mpg again! I'd love to hear some numbers when you do fill it up!

 20 MPG :ROTFL: from a KK? I never got better than 16 and that was when it was new. I would like to see better than the 13 mpg I've been getting. I'll get gas tonight on my way to the range, I'll post later what the mpg was.

Been without it and cable since last week, so many emails/ PMs etc
Hope everyone is doing well, getting ready to try and finish moving this weekend if possible, get house cleaned and on the market. Its worth 20,000 more than I paid for it so no Larry I won't sell it for 50,000 :goink:
Worked two days, 6 hours each day, longest I have had shoes on in two years :ROTFL:

I was complaining that with a loaded enclosed 6X10 trailer behind mine moving I was getting 15-16, maybe I should be happy :JEEPIN:

Normally 20-21 pretty easy at 75 or so on the highway. ( average from parents in Southeastern Ohio to my place up there) Around town here in Columbus this week I've noticed its about 15.5-16 ( average ) but then I've had to dodge a shooting one day and that took a lot of gas fast !!!! :ROTFL:
First day on the new job, working in the main office, halfway home .......hear pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop..........car behind me is being shot at by a car going the other way
light turned green and I was :JEEPIN:

Guess its time to armor the rest of your vehicle! Throw some Kevlar in the doors and get some bullet proof glass. :pepper:

I just got back from Virginia and on one leg of the trip my Garmin Mechanic hit 24.9 mpg. For the whole trip it was approximately 23 mpg. No trailer, but had the roof rack loaded and lots of other stuff inside.

I'll take it. :D

Ted, that's good news. Amazing how poor that original install was - wow :banghead:

After two years lifted I have yet to have a pinion reset done on my KJ. I don't get nearly the MPG's you do, Tom, so probably time to get in the dealership and have the 'procedure' done on Black Beauty.

So what exactly do I tell the Service Writer? Will I get the "confused dog" look when I say 'pinion reset?' I'm chugging along at about 18mpg highway/16mpg city and that doesn't cut it anymore. Mileage went up from 14/16 when I regeared but seems like it should be higher - yes?

Tom, you moving stuff this weekend? And for what it's worth, keep moving when you hear the gunshots, OK?

Bob
