Hi haven't posted much, pulled the bumper myself with a lot help from God, jeepers, forum and installed tow hook mod, the one with the tow hook brackets welded to 6"receiver tubes, my brother in law did the welds I just cleaned, painted and put them in gonna try and post a photo if I can figure out how from a iPad. Before, During, After, sort of other parts not in yet and not sure of the paint job. Thanks for the clue on how to post photos JeepMonkey190

Get the "Photo Bucket" app for your iPad then you can transfer the pics from your iPad to photo bucket then copy and paste the image link to the forum

Thanks Rescue Green, lol, , it's a start nothing like some of what I've seen on the forum but Hoping have lots questions on what I'd like to do, went to Harbor Tools today gosh they ought to ban places like that and me but was able to get two receivers. Amongst other stuff but don't like the shackles that came with them so I'll keep looking until I either find another 3/4 shackle or a pair.

Does antibody know anything about Badland winches they have a 12000lb that will be 299 come the first week of June reg. 499. But I've not heard of them before and don't have anywhere to put it yet but ima thinking.

Save your money for a proven one like mile marker or warn. I bought a smittybilt and it broke the first time I used it. Like the old saying goes, buy once cry once.

Man, it’s been a while since I posted..

Going back a ways, I used it to get to some awesome fishing spots. Got some good flexing in (no pics though)

Then loaded it up after graduation to move to NJ for a few months. All loaded up with my junk and a tank of gas, the rear was sagging over an inch :ROTFL:

Still unpacking my KK but start commuting to work tomorrow. Hoping to do a few small mods in the future though, summer time = mod time

So I took a look at it and I like they said on their website I would ONLY use on highway because the problem I see with this is that it is on a single pole and even though it is probably strong enough to hold the weight of the tire it will move around while locked in the up position do to that it is on a bolt style hinge and movement equals noise like squeaking or tapping sounds during every bump on the road, plus unlike a regular tire swing when you need to open the back hatch or glass you can just open and close it with ease but with this type you have to lower the tire and then when your done you have to pick it back up which would be a pain. :2cents:

Working on mobile power bank:
Image
Got a 120v-12v converter to power up 12v toys when it is plug in (camping) and also attached a 12v 1.5 amp battery charger to charger the battery while it is plug into 120v outlet
Image
The power will will get power from the battery by default and automatically switch to 120v converter once plug in.

Those switches will control exterior and interior LED work lights and the battery charger.
