hit some trails today with a buddy and blew the driver side rack and pinion seal by the inner tie rod, filled the boot then ruptured that. how easy is it to replace one of those seals? or should I just take it to a local shop? (garage job or shop job?) I've never messed with power steering components so it'd be new to me, I want to do it and learn it but I don't want to jump in too deep. thanks for the help guys

I pulled mine out and took it to a power steering rebuild shop, was sorted in a day or so for not much. Looking online the KK racks are quite cheap in the US so might be easier just to replace?
