I just cut open the housing and insert the LED light into it...and install the resistor and connect them to the OEM wiring...

Weather still isn't the great but managed to snap a bunch of pictures of my mod. After looking through a bunch of other Jeep model forums in search of light mounting options, I stumbled across the WK's and Omelet's awesome build thread and therefore totally give him the credit for the idea.

Any chance of a video of the noise happening?

Looks good! What lights did you use? I'm assuming you just cut the part of the grill that blocks the lights?

Thanks. They're not rigid or anything, I bought them on sale at a Performance store in town they're just known as work lights lol but they do the job and are just as bright. Yes I did just cut the top part out, it was hard pushing the button on my dremel haha

They almost look like Sewards. They're just 3x3? I might look into doing that, when I have the funds that is lol.

I just tried to listen for it this morning and it wasn't there.. Could've been road debris in the wheel. It's gone now. I do know for a fact that I will need to do my ball joints soon.

So I'm probably going to sell my XJ. I've only had it a few months and done a lot of work on it. It's just one issue after another. I replaced the entire suspension and it's ready for trails. I just don't have the energy for it.

Sooo.. That means I'm going to have some $$$ to spend on the KK. I'm thinking going with new duratracs and finally adding my fogs and cruise control.

Also... Yesterday I removed the star on my hood. Big mistake ever putting that thing on. The outlines of the star are forever imprinted on the hood. I'm guessing dirt scratched the hood and left the permanent marks. I plan on covering it with a renegade decal.

Looks sick nFodzy! I think you're the first to do this haha.

After looking at the quoted photo could you take the cut remnants and super glue to make a horizontal line just under the light housing, in-line with the horizontal line on the outside slots?

At 70,000mi, so I installed some new NGK V Power spark plugs during my lunch (30,000mi since E3 DiamondFire's). I had forgotten how much a pain the passenger's side rear plug was to get too haha. Also, These NGKs didn't seem to start up faster or provide the incy-wincy power increase like the E3s did. They are performing at the same level as the 30,000mi E3s to be honest haha.

Lammarco, Did you relocate the solenoid on your winch?

I'm considering moving it from my winch into the passenger side of the engine bay. LOTS of space in there! Wondering if you have a link for a little info about what I can and can't do?
