Just put skids on my 06. Pretty easy to do. Jacked her up good so I could fit underneath with room to manuveur. Nutserts were easy to install as well just hold them steady. Just waiting for the front one to come. It should be here Wednesday. Good luck.

ya they are pretty easy, they should just bolt right up the harded part will be the nutserts if you dont already have them installed in your Jeep, I installed them on my Jeep and I messed a couple up so I went around and welded them in place

This is whats confusing me, i was looking at these directions and on the second page it shows on how to put the nuts and bolts together but then on the picture itself it looks like that they are putting the B-2X in first before they put the bolt and nut on all togther, but then when you go down to page 3 its showing that you put the bolt D-4X in to where the B-2X goes... So what goes where??? What two bolts go in the front???

Here is link.... http://www.mopar-accessories.com/en-US/ ... hx?id=1969

OK, easy solution. You need to install the two nut-serts in the openings on the frame member behind the transmission, but for the two bolts on the front the nuts are already welded in place inside the frame (why they didn't just do this for all of them I dunno). If you look at the parts list for the trans skid it also shows only two of the bolts included, this is because the front of the trans skid shares two bolts with the rear of the engine skid.

You install nutserts in steps:

1. Assemble the nutsert and the install “tool” (bolt, washers and nut that spins) – first picture on the bottom of page 2.
2. Push the assembly into the frame hole – middle picture.
3. Hold the assembly firmly in the frame and hold the “nut that spins” still, as you screw in the bolt, this expands the top of the nutsert like a pop rivet.
4. Remove the install “tool” and then install the next nutsert re using the “tool”.
5. When all nutserts are installed, you install the skid as shown on page 3.

If you're working by yourself, using a tire jack as a third hand to hold the skids in place can be very helpful.
