It's only as good as the input you give.

Are there any Jeepers out there from NC, SC, VA? If so, why not contact Dean and say hello?

He doesn't bite unless your name is Jamie.

I guess all those Liberty's in the Carolina's are on auto-pilot.

Welcome Benmar. Im up in Richmond, Virginia however I wheel with Dean (the one man Carolina LOST rep) all the time. Come to think of it, I havent been on a trip with Dean not there before. We were trying to get a trip to Uwharri going but there was a serious lack of interest. Im hoping to go sometime this summer (If I even have time) or next fall (College baby! I can do whatever!). I hope you can make it to some of our trips and have a blast with us. It may be a long drive for you but you should consider coming in April with us to the 2nd annual Paragon run.

Yeah.. I would love to go.. What are the dates in April... I haven't been to the Uwharrie National Forest yet.. But I would love to go.. There are any places to wheel here in the Low Country... I have also noticed that this Forum is dead compared to other LOST regional forums... Oh well.. Just get back to me with those dates or a link... I will talk to the wife and see if we can make it a family trip...

Thanks,

Ben

Ben,
Don't worry about the application.
I probably should update the web site. Now I'm just looking for more activity on this board from people in the Carolinas.

Thanks.

The sad thing is, this was the most active forum on the old board. Then the Mid-Atlantic took over the most active spot.

I have a brother in Charleston. Wheeling in the low country would probably be a good starting spot for new people. Less rocks, but more likely to get stuck.

Well.. I am not worried about rocks.. I use to wheel full size pickups in West Virginia in my younger and dumber days.. As for getting stuck.. Been there.. Done that.. Especially when the vacuum disconnect in the YJ went out going done this real muddy road.. LOL The only reason I am in the Charleston Area is because of my job... But I can't wait to get to some mountain action.. Nothing major just some good ol' trail riding...

Yeah, I understand.
But, I'm just saying an easy trail on the coast my make it easy for new people to get started. Uwharrie is not for first timers, believe me, it was my first time out. Oh the pinstripes!! So, what I am saying, if you know of some coastal trails that you would like to hit with a few other people, then we can make it a group run sometime.

Uwharrie opens back up in the spring. The April Fool's Run at Paragon is on April Fool's day. Which is a Saturday in 2006. I think someone in the Mid-Atlantic region should start a trail thread on it.

Yeah.. I know about pin striping and trees jumping out in front of ya.. LOL.. When a run to Uwharrie is coming up.. I would probably take my 95.. It is already kind of getting beat up.. LOL.. New dent or big scratch.. No problem.. New place for a sticker.. LOL... I also read where Paragon is April 2nd.. I can't wait to go... Take the new Libby out and see what she can do.. But I have to get new tires on her first.. Looking at getting some BFG AT KO..

Hello neighbors, We (Tony and April) are in Asheboro, NC. Still new to LOST and only been out once in the Liberty. That’s when we realized we're gonna need some protection and a little more clearance. Should be ready this spring for some more wheelin'. Just give me at least two weeks notice so we can get out of work!

Welcome April and Tony.

I am hoping that we get a Uwharrie run done this spring. I know Richard from Virginia wants to get down there. Also, I will probably be heading up to Pennsylvania for the April 1st LOST Fools Run. Nothing like camping in the snow.

Hi all! My wheelin' time is going to be limited in April since we finally pinned down a date for the wedding...April 7th. Might sneak out for an April Fools run the weekend before, but will probably have a honeydo list a mile long by that point.

But I'm dying to go out! I just missed the OBX run in the fall. I don't have a lift or extra armor yet, so my outings have been limited to beaching and some rough fireroads. Maybe I'll get some BouderBars as a wedding present...

I currently have a free calendar in Jan/Feband a brother that lives in Raleigh (who also owns a CRD KJ). Any mild trails to do around Raleigh/Durham? If so, anyone intersted?

I I knew of some easy trails or any trails around Raleigh, I would post them in a flash. The only ones I know of are just following telephone lines, which may or may not be illegal.
