If those rocks have snow on them, no way I would try it.

Yeah, from the only guy to not do the chute (along with bobby dodger)... Oh yes, I have respect for that trail, but I'll bring a broom to sweep off the big, tough rocks!

HEY!! If I had sliders I bet I could of walked right up it! Like eddo said, nothing can beat a good ol mechanical locker!!

My esp didnt work..

Yes, I am unhappy that the ESP decided to take a few hours off. That made that chute a real B. However, we all had fun. You got those rails on yet?

As long as you get the rails on, you wouldn't need the springs. Is the concert that day?

I just wanted to put this out for any of the Chicago crew who are thinking about this trip... Any of you guys are welcome to overnight at my house in Indy and we can drive over that morning. It is about 4 hours to the 49er truck stop in Livingston, KY from my house. I plan on driving back to Indy that night as well and you can overnight again here then also if you like. My only warning is you must enjoy dogs and I have only one guest bed. The couch and floor are fair game after that. I know 7+ hours is a lot of driving but this was the best "technical" 4x4 I have found in the midwest. I can not wait to go back and would love more to have a chance to enjoy it as well. PM me for additional information if you think you might give it a try.

I've got a futon and some couches, although Dayton would only be good for northern Ohio & MI guys...

Oh, they'll have to help me tune my birthday present (http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=15033, but that's a lot cheaper than a motel

Is there any chance someone without skids could make it without ripping the oil filter off of their CRD?

Even if I had to take every bypass I would still enjoy getting out and watching everyone else play.

Should I risk it?

No lift and no skids? ouch. Although I guess if you take it slow and take a few bypasses....
