I put 30k on my vehicles a year. Last the KJ got most of them, chomped through toyo ATs in a year (with regular rotation) The way I see it these mudders will last at least as long.

I ran my last KJ like that....mileage wise. 167,ooo miles before my first problem which was just the radiator. I drive a fraction of that now with the exception of 3 trips a year to Colorado. I shouldn't chew through 'em very fast.

Quick question experienced lifters.....if I regear to 4.10s.....do I need to do anything to the transfer case? Will my stock transfer case have any issues?

definintely not a DIY unless you have the shop/tool access or experience. Just the slightest bit off and its B.A.D. It involves a word I fear the most in car talk...."SHIMS".

Yeah shimming wrong and your runing your case and the carrier and possibly the ring and pinion. Not a job for the faint or inexperienced. Ive done quite a few and Ill definitely be passing the front off to someone else, not sure if I want to tackle the rear myself in the garage.
