Better off going with Ranchos part number RSX17004.

The SkyJacker Nitro shocks are a real good shock,I beat mine pretty good and they lasted a long while.Though I tried the OME's(big mistake) then switched to the Rancho's.The SkyJacker Nitro's and the Rancho 17004's give you about the same ride, not sure about the price difference.Oh and the SkyJackers are made for the KJ,the Rancho's are not(they are for a stock Durango/Dakota).

Stay away from the SkyJacker Hydro shocks,to mushy like OME shocks.

You also may want to compare the length and full extension of each shock.

the skyjackers are a lot less $$ then the ranchos, is that right? if they are comparable, as tjkj says, to ranchos, then it seems like a good buy.

i'm in the market for a set myself... been running the rusty's for far too long

I could be wrong, but I remember someone saying that the OME132L Long Travel Shock would give you the most drop.

I have those OME long travel shocks and I love them. They can really get out and stretch and they ride extremely smooth on and off road.

Looking at those pictures reminded me the lower shock mounts are the lowest point on a KJ.Mine have taken a beating.Has anyone moved them up on a stock axle KJ?

They also do not have the lifetime warranty that the Ranchos do;)

is that warranty voided because you're not running them on a Durango?

How do they know what they are on? So no, I blew one of mine down in DBNF and got it covered, they never asked what it was on, they just gave me another one
