Ok so I know I don't have a wrangler and all, but sometimes I still wanna take off my doors. Is it possible, legal, and reasonable. Obviously I'll go without if it's not a simple on/off, off/on procedure. I just figured I'd ask to see if any o y'all knew. Thanks guys!

yes it's possible known a few with libbys that took their doors off with no problems

if you have heated mirrors, or power windows/door locks you'll have to make disconnects for the wiring going to the door

depends where you live i suppose whether it's legal or not

have to bypass the door open doohicky thing too

i personally don't think it's worth it, but it's not my rig :)

its totally possible. all you gotta do is un bolt em and unplus things.

to solve the door ajar issue, they make clips to go over the little button things that the door presses when its closed so that even tho your doors are gone your vehicle will think they are closed

try either one of these... they say its for a wrangler but it dont matter. all jeeps are pretty much the same when it comes to wiring.

Won't work for the KJ since those sensors are integrated into the door latch in the door itself and not a separate button that the TJ's use.You would have to wire in a bypass.

Getting the doors off is the easy part.
But what about getting them back on?
How hard is that? Alignment issues at all?

That can be fun when they still have everything in them still(heavy).I had mine off when I painted mine, still not to fun with just a empty door.

I hope you didn't wheel too hard.

the doors are essential to the structure of the Uniframe.

if you wheel too hard and can't get the doors to line back up, guess what...

bent uniframe.

I will eventually make half/tube doors for that reason.
