Glad I have zero tranny problems,,,am I the only one?
How many miles do you have on the clock?
12,500 miles on the clock. I drive it like I stole it nearly every time I get in it. I'm sure if I had this problem id know it. I did have the tranny tsb done at about 500 miles,,,that shudder was very obvious. I have accelerated hard to 50 or so then let off it many times--IT'S JUST NOT THERE. It hunts a bit around 56 mph, but I just speed up a bit and that goes away. At all other times it is smooth.
I'm confused

First you say " I did have the tranny tsb done at about 500 miles,,,that shudder was very obvious. " you go on to say "IT'S JUST NOT THERE"

Plus your "I have accelerated hard to 50 or so then let off it many times" is not mild or brisk . As I said if you drive it hard you'll not see it. Also paying attention to what feels like road surface or wind disturbances at steady freeway speeds is also the symptom in discuise. dsl_lou had a oil pump problem and they have redesigned the "front pump" (there's been only one pump for the last 30 to 40 years but it's still called the front pump). On another board it was said the front pump has problems putting out enough pressure/volume to keep the TC properly locked or unlocked at at lower rpm's. The changes in the shift patterns that come with the F-31 flash seem to bear this out. Also a tsb raised the fluid pressure as a bandaid. When I drive my rpm's are under 2k while yours are most likely over 2k. So babying it kills them and running the snot out of them makes them last

That's contrary to how it should be
