My wife hit a dear about a month ago and it finally got fixed after several back ordered parts. So we got the jeep back tonight, and everything was good as new, the only problem was they didn't let it run long enough to get the thermostat open and top off the coolant properly, but they gave me a gallon of the correct mixed fluid. Sure missed it, and am sure glad they got it fixed up right.

An old trick to bleed surge tank style systems: Remove/loosten the pressure cap and let it run (you may have to start with a cold engine). Not uncommon to see air pockets burp out, one at a time through the fluid in the surge tank. Have also had systems where I had to leave the cap loose and take a short drive to get things moving.

thats what happened I drove it home, about a half mile, went to the mechanic to see about my work truck, and the light came on, and I had put less then one additional mile onto it before I took it back. They fixed it right up, the free antifreeze was nice of them, but I guess it helps when the shop owner went to school with my brother.
