Well I'm not worried about my dealership, its a "good'ole boys" outfit. The service manager is my father's best friend, my dad actually plays golf on the dealership's team and knows everyone who works there on a personal level. He's been buying cars from them since the 1960's, they've overlooked anything I've done out of warranty. In fact the service manager told me that this would void my warranty but that he wouldn't do it himself. I'm sitting on 33k miles right now, so I'm clear for another 3k...
Anyway, I made sure to follow all the instructions to the point for the CAT filter installation. I cleared all the factory threadlocker and used a special allen wrench that didn't go beyond where it needed to. This seems like another problem, I was probably wrong (or simply overreacting) when I made this thread. I discussed with my service manager all the common problems owners are having with their CRD's and he has been fairly responsive (mine is the only CRD he's ever even seen, let along worked on).
He did say that three "compression codes" were thrown when they tested it today. I don't know what to think, well other than I may be looking to trade this thing in within the next 3,000 miles
